Where We Work

AWARE-RH covers a total of 21 West African countries - including the 15-member ECOWAS countries plus Cameroon, Chad, Equitoral Guinea, Gabon, Mauritania and Sao Tome/Principe - and is implemented in close collaboration with institutions, networks, and organizations with a regional mandate.

Program activities are limited in USAID bilateral countries and are concentrated in - Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Mauritania, Niger, Sierra Leone and Togo.
